One of the top level predators in the Temperate Deciduous Forest Biome could be the Black Bear. The Black Bear is an omnivore, so it will eat plants and animals in it's diet. Black Bears, although they are the least aggresive bear, have very high defensive traits, especially for their offspring, and will attack if they feel threatened. Many other animals, including humans, are intimidated by their claws and sharp teeth; this is because they stereotypically clump them together with the personality of other bears, who are much more aggressive. Even though Black Bears are not as aggressive, their sharp teeth and claws help them to eat many things like fish, fruits/veggies, bugs, etc. But they mostly eat fruits and veggies.
